
Yoga Classes
A Quick Note: It is the top priority of our studio to offer a well-rounded variety of classes which are consistent and scheduled strategically to create the most attendance opportunities. We hope to provide a diversity of subjects and styles of practice to bring the most value to our community members, but, as in all aspects of life, our year rolls through different seasons where we experience different levels of schedule sustainability. Some classes listed below go on a temporary hiatus during the year, but they always have a return date. Hot 26 +2
The FIR Hot 26 is the foundational sequence of the hot yoga practice. The class offers students a mindfully-paced sequence of 26 poses with detailed instruction and alignment cuing. This class is open to all levels and will provide students the opportunity to acclimate to the heated environment and gain greater kinesthetic awareness. We offer this class in 60, 75, and 90 minute classes.
Hot Vinyasa I
Our FIR Hot Vinyasa I teachers will guide students through a continuous series of postures synchronized with breath. This class will offer accessible transitions and fewer vinyasa flows, while creating opportunities to strengthen your pranayama practice. Students can expect introductions to binds, varying balance postures, and adaptable modifications. Classes are heated to 95-99 degrees.
Hot Vinyasa Flow
Hot Vinyasa Flow is open to practitioners of all levels and offers varying modifications to make the class accessible to beginners, but adaptable to more advanced practices. Students can expect inclusive cueing and direction from the teachers alongside opportunities to flow autonomously. Classes range from 60 to 65 minutes and will be heated to 99°F with controlled humidity.
Hot Vinyasa II
Hot Vinyasa II is an advanced class that will guide students through a continuous flow of postures synchronized with breath. Vinyasa II is open to students who have an established vinyasa practice and are familiar with advanced cues, transitions, and postures. Classes will be heated to 95 - 99 degrees.
Hot Power Vinyasa & Hot Power Vinyasa Express
Hot Power Vinyasa is a vigorous style of vinyasa that connects breath with movement. The pace and physical nature of this class present a fun and challenging opportunity to grow your existing practice. Sun salutations, strength challenges, twists, and inversions will be offered. Modifications are always available, but it's recommended that practitioners have an existing vinyasa practice and enjoy an athletic yoga experience.
Short on time, but looking to fit in a flow? Then our Hot Power Vinyasa Express is just for you! It’s the same challenge presented in our Hot Power Vinyasa classes, but at a faster pace. These classes are 45-minutes long versus our standard 60 minute.
Hot Agni Shakti Flow
This energetic flow will stoke your inner fire and feed your soul. Building on a dynamic warm-up, students will be guided through challenging sequences focused on strength, flexibility, and balance to invigorate the mind, body, and spirit.
Hot Happy Hour Flow
Come prep for the weekend with this 60-minute fast paced energetic flow. Building on a dynamic warm-up, students will be guided through challenging sequences focused on strength, flexibility, and balance to invigorate the mind and body. It is recommended to have an established yoga practice for this class.
Fluidity
Fluidity is a new style of class that merges stretch, yoga, and dance into one. Increase flexibility and strengthen muscles with low impact dance tailored exercises and stretches. The room will be warm, but not heated for this class.
Yin
Yin offers a slower-paced, more meditative practice. In Yin yoga, the poses are typically perfromed from a supine or side-lying position and held for a period of time - typically three to five minutes or longer - to target the joint spaces and connective tissues rather than focusing on the muscles. As a result, the asanas are more passive holds, with little muscular engagement.
Sunday Meditative Candlelight
This class is a beautiful blend of yoga, meditation and ambiance. The room is gently warmed by our FIR radiant heating system and delicately lighted by the soft glow of candlelight. Students are offered an accessible series of breath work and gentle asana before drifting into a guided meditation and extended savasana.
Restorative
Our heavenly Restorative class is gently heated class that offers a slow sequence of floor poses and guided relaxation designed to reset your body and relax your mind. Using lots of props to support and enhance the experience, our Restorative class is the perfect antidote for the stress of daily life and gives your central nervous system what it needs to recover from the demands of daily life and other physical practices. To put it simply, our Restorative class is like a big yoga hug. This warm and fuzzy class is sure to become one of your favorites!
Chair Yoga
Our chair yoga class offers yoga to participants who are unable to transition easily to and from the floor. Students will be guided through a series of postures coordinated with yogic breath work. Emphasis will be placed on breath, balance, mindfulness, functional movement and community. This class will be taught at room temperature.
Pilates & More
Springboard
Springboard offers challenging combinations using varied resistance and positioning to increase balance, strength, agility and core fitness while sculpting and toning your entire body. This is a Pilates based practice that emphasizes functional movement and mobility. A perfect counterbalance to your yoga practice.
Barre & Burn
This unique and challenging barre workout is supplemented adds intervals of resistance training including bands, weights, balance trainers, sliders, etc. to create a total-body muscle burning, limb shaking experience. The combination will strengthen your core, lengthen your muscles, sculpt your body, and build your confidence. You'll be tired, for sure, but it'll be a "good" tired ;-)
Build & Burn
Build & Burn will get your blood pumping and your muscles thumping. This class will focus on building muscle and increasing your metabolic rate. Students can expect a combination of high intensity interval training, strength training, and minimal cardio. Unlike our Pilates-based classes, Build & Burn draws from other fitness styles to supplement your whole-body workout routine.
Bounce & Burn
“Bounce,” or rebounding, offers the perfect fusion of low impact cardio and resistance training. Combining the cardio and weight-bearing benefits of the rebounder (mini trampoline) with the muscle sculpting intensity of resistance training, this class will give you a total body challenge. Studies show that 20 minutes of rebounding has the same cardiovascular benefits of an hour of running without the negative impact to the joints. Add to that a few muscle-burning intervals of a various resistance modalities, and you've got the perfect workout!
Power Mat Pilates Express
This class focuses on lengthening and toning the entire body through low impact, functional exercises. Expect a blend of classical and contemporary Pilates using various props and weights as you work on strengthening your mind-body connection in a fast-paced, power setting.
