Increased flexibility

Because infrared heat directly warms your body’s mass as opposed to heating the air around you, FIR heat provides a penetrating therapeutic heat which is more consistent and beneficial to your health than traditional forced-air systems. In a study conducted by Auburn University comparing FIR’s effects on flexibility vs. the effects of stretching in a forced-air environment, researchers concluded participants were able to stretch more comfortably in the infrared environment than in the traditional forced-air environment.
